Mekeover interior design for future rentals – Charged with crafting a standout design for a property on a tight budget, the goal was to create a bright and memorable space that would stand out among other properties at Airbnb platform while incorporating the client’s existing furniture seamlessly.
Project scope:
– Design concept and furniture layout preparation
– Mood boards
– Construction works: restoration of windows and doors, kitchen facelift, ceiling decoration, block-painting walls, and furniture up-cycling.
Cost breakdown for the 55 sq m apartment:
– Design project: 60,000 CZK
– Overall expenses: 400,000 CZK, covering materials, construction, furniture up-cycling, and new lighting.

The accent wallpaper mural was used in the main room to bring colours and character to the space as well as to make the apartment memorable amongst other adverts for rents.
To support the charismatic wall mural we added bright home décor accessories, such as mustard yellow curtains, colourful cushions and accent rug.

In the bedroom we wanted to create a feeling of calming and relaxing greenery, as the apartment situated in the central city aria not surrounded by many trees.
